Increasing traffic and conversion rates leads to increased LOVE
....and revenue!
From the previous three years at iDateAsia conferences, it has become apparent that the Far East/Asian market for both social networking and online dating will emerge as the most prolific and most likely the largest sector over the next decade. Within certain countries, mobile applications are quite advanced. More than Europe, the Far East is an untapped market for Internet Personals. In the Social Networking Space, China's QQ.com has now more users than MySpace, making it the largest social networking site in the world. At the end of 2007, most of the industry remians concentrated on what is now considerd a mature market in North America. Meanwhile, few companies outside Asia have actively pursued the Far East/Asian market for social networking or for internet dating.
Our 4th annual Far East Internet Dating Conference will provide an event in Tokyo on Thursday and Friday, May 8-9, 2008. While it will cover the Asian Internet Personals and Social Networking business, the iDate2008 Tokyo event will also have a strong focus on Japan. It is for online dating/social networking management executives that have an interest in penetrating the Asian market. Attending will be:
Online dating industry business executives
Social networking business executives
Venture Capitalists
Software & technology executives
Telecommunication and Mobile Technology executives
Marketing executives
Media executives
Payment processing executives
Affiliate managers
Affiliates and portal webmasters of singles related sites.
Experts in technology, business management in Asia, and marketing for social networking / online dating with experience with the market in Far East nations will present. The idate2008 Tokyo event will focus mostly on the Japanese market for several reasons. The previous 3 events were in China, an area of rapid and expansive growth. We are witnessing unique growth in Japan, espescially in the mobile Social Networking space. Japan has a high GNP, making it an attractive market to enter. Apart from Yahoo, many successful North American and European based businesses have ignored expansion into this market, Japanese entrepreneurs have created their own brands, which are now quite popular in the country.
Similar to the Miami event in January, this two day Asian Internet Dating Conference will consist of morning seminars and lectures, followed by afternoon workshops. The workshops will consist of a series of 90 minute intensive lectures that are designed to improve internet dating business performance. Most presentations will focus on increasing Far East web traffic and conversion rates. Language issues, cultural differences, technological developments and preferences for specific Asian countries will be covered at this event. Dating industry executives, marketing representatives, technology executives, affiliates and affiliate managers all stand to learn a great deal in these workshops and are welcome to interject their questions at anytime. Significant time will exist for networking as well. Presentations will be both in English and Japanese.
Exhibitors will also be present and all are urged to meet these companies in person to network and build relationships.
